Stephanie Gress is a Curator at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum. She holds a Master's Degree in Art History and Criticism from SUNY at Stony Brook and was selected for study at the Smithsonian Institute Curator's Workshop in Washington, D.C. in 2004. Her latest project at the museum is the restoration of a historic exhibit made possible through funding from a Save America's Treasures Grant awarded to the museum.

Gress, a member of the American Association of Museum's Curator's Committee, the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections, and the Smithtown Central School District Industry Advisory Board, is the owner and President of Gress Consulting, a business that provides grant writing and art consulting services to not-for-profits.
